Virginia Gavin is President & COO. Virginia has more than 30 years of management experience in healthcare and technology. She has been an integral part of the company since 1991 and is responsible for overall company management as well as Sales. Virginia is actively involved in local non-profit organizations. She is a past-President of the Lansdowne Economic Development Corporation and a Board member of the Lansdowne Symphony Orchestra.
Mark Gavin is Chief Technology Officer and software architect. His experience with PDF dates from 1993, the year PDF was introduced. Mark invented PDF redaction in 1997 and is also the creator of several other first-ever PDF applications, including Appligent’s SecurSign and FDFMerge, EMC’s Documentum IRM for PDF, and Liquent’s CoreDossier. Mark leads Appligent’s development team and has been active in the AIIM ISO Standards committees for PDF Reference (ISO 32000), PDF Archive (PDF/A ISO 19005) and PDF Universal Accessibility (PDF/UA ISO 14289).

Kenneth Salter has been a Senior Software Engineer for Appligent for seven years. At Appligent, Dr. Salter has contributed to the engineering and programming of its software application products, focusing on information redaction technologies and on infrastructure common to many products. Before joining Appligent, Dr. Salter spent more than twenty years developing system software for Unisys Corporation.
Dr. Salter received engineering degrees from Lehigh University and a Ph.D. in computer science from the University of Pennsylvania. He is a Life Member of the Institute of Electrical and Electronic Engineers, a member of Eta Kappa Nu, and a Silver Life Master of the American Contract Bridge League. Dr. Salter resides in Pennsylvania with his wife, Mary, and their hibiscus plants, Lucy and Ethel.

Robert Meyer is a Software Engineer with 35 years of experience in cross platform programming from VAX/VMS to Windows, UNIX and Macintosh. Bob has worked in a number of roles, including managerial, consulting and support. When not programming, he can be found playing rock & roll standards in local music venues.
Jeanne has worked closely with professionals in the legal, publishing and food safety industries as well as government agencies and a variety of small businesses to assist them in leveraging the power of PDF. She primarily acts as a project manager, but is involved with our services clients from the early stages of developing a solution, throughout the execution of that solution and provides ongoing technical support.
Greg Pisocky has been working with publishing technology since beginning his professional career in 1982 at Digital Equipment Corporation (DEC). He joined Frame Technology Corporation as a field service engineer. Frame was acquired by Adobe and Greg became a member of the Acrobat Sales Team. At the 2001 National Federation of the Blind Convention in Philadelphia, Greg was the first to publicly demonstrate Acrobat working with a screen reader. Working closely with Adobe Developers and the IRS, he was part of the team that created “talking PDF tax forms”. Greg also worked on the ISO PDF/UA Standard and the W3C’s ATAG 2.0 accessible authoring techniques standard. He worked in PDF accessibility at NetCentric Technologies and continues his involvement at Appligent.
